The "Jump Off" teams have had killer conditions in the past 10 days including an amazing 3.3 day at The Wall. Mother Nature gave all she had and took a rest on the final day with light easterlies and blazing temps.

Julien Sanchez from Lyon/France is our latest ripper of the month. Julien is a professional sports filmaker, photographer and ambioned windsurfer who calls the Rhône River his local playground.

In an interview he talks about his passion for windsurfing and his profession.

"I filmed my first flicks along the Rhône to document our windsurfing sessions on this powerful river. From then on I knew, that I had to go on and make this my life's work. Later, I set up a project with Jérome Houyvet, the French photographer, Keith Tebooul, Carine Cambooulives and Manu Bouvet, filming backstage on a windsurfing trip. This led to production of a film called "THE TRIP"."

Head for Hood River in June for the annual Gorge Windfest, the ever-popular event hosted by the Columbia Gorge Windsurfing Association (CGWA).
You will find a beach full of sails and boards to test drive on the water, along with a full schedule of free clinics for all abilities and free introductory lessons offered by a local windsurfing school.

When?	Saturday & Sunday June 26-27 2010.

Where?	Event Site, Hood River / Oregon

What ?	Free Windsurfing Lessons - Kids Too Learn how to Jibe, Sail Tuning,Rigging & Freestyle Clinics Saturday and Sunday from 10-4. Unlimited all-day demos are $5 for CGWA members (show your membership card!), and $10 for nonmembers. The 2010 Shadowbox "Jump Off series" hits the Gorge

EpicSessions.com is pleased to announce a brand-new event format, the 2010 Shadowbox "Jump Off series".

The shadowbox is a capturing device that captures your rides and allows it to analyze every aspect of your performance like speed, jump height and distance etc.
When you got off the water, plug your shadowbox to a computer and watch a stunning 3D visualization of your ride.

The event idea is to equipe riders with the shadowbox, let them perform the biggest and sickest air and analyze who performed best.

The first event will be held during the Pistol River Wave Bash between June 17-20.

The second event will take place in the between June 28 to July 7 and is a Team Edition event with six teams of two riders based on 10 metrics over the ten day.
Each team will have a backpack with Shadowbox units, GoPro cameras, HD video cameras and all the supporting gear needed to record their epic sessions over the ten days.

Best of all, you'll be able to follow the teams on the EpicSessions.tv website with daily updates, sms alerts and live video from the action as it happens on select (ie., totally sick) days. The event party on July 10th is the party of the summer with sick video, tunes and entertainment.

The third Jump Off is for August in the SF Bay Area, followed by Sylt in September and then our second Maui Jump Off event in October.

The format is simple, the action is insane and the parties are epic!
